In this privacy statement you can read everything about how Walloha collects your personal data and how it is handled. This explains where your data is stored and for what purposes your data is stored. In addition, you will also find all your rights with regard to your data and how you can use those rights. You are currently reading the Walloha privacy statement. Walloha is an online store that designs and sells wall art for children. With our cheerful wallpaper designs, wall stickers and posters you can make the nursery something unique.

There are situations in which your data is collected by Walloha. It is therefore good to know what is done with it and how you can indicate your wishes. That is what this statement is about. If you do not feel comfortable about the use of your data by Walloha, please feel free to contact us!

Walloha is part of VOF Mes Media, which is run by Mariska van Brederode and Sander Hillegers.

2. Target data

Personal data is collected by Walloha for a number of purposes. These are explained below.

2.1. Orders
For your order we need your name, e-mail address, address(es), telephone number and payment details. We will register, store and process your data for the correct processing of the order. In addition, this data can be used for a possible later guarantee. When processing your order, we provide the logistics center and (wallpaper) producer with the strictly necessary personal data.

We will only use your data for the above purposes, or for a purpose closely related to this. This means that your data is never used by us in an unexpected way.

2.2. Email contact
If you send us an e-mail, we will be in possession of your e-mail address, name and IP address, together with other data that you send us (date, time, IP address and any website or telephone number).

2.3. Sending newsletters
Walloha sends digital newsletters of a commercial nature. Your first name, e-mail address and IP address are collected via the appropriate form on the Walloha website, so that we know to whom and which address we can send the newsletter.

2.4. Product Reviews
To be able to post a product review on Walloha, you must provide your first name and e-mail address, and upload a photo if necessary. Your IP address and time of placement and any website are also stored in our database. Your name, the time of posting and any photo will be published on Walloha together with the review. Reviews can be viewed with the associated product and in a separate RSS feed.

Product pages and the associated reviews can be requested by anyone, including search engines. We have no influence on how these search engines store or display your review(s).

2.5. Analytics
The Walloha website collects your data to improve the website. This is done with Google Analytics and Jetpack. This data is anonymous and is therefore not linked to your personal data. This includes information such as the length of your visit, the pages you visit and the products you order.

3. Recipients

The data that Walloha receives and processes is managed by:

3.1 Producers and processors
It happens that other parties receive your data from us. We agree with these parties in a processing agreement that they will handle your data with care and they will only receive the data that is necessary to provide their service. These parties will only use your data in accordance with the instructions we give and not for their own purposes. For example, we can pass on your data to our logistics center, wallpaper producers and/or wallpaper party. They will, respectively, take care of the administration and process the invoices correctly; ensure the delivery of orders; ensure the production of the ordered wallpaper and shipment thereof, they will contact you for wallpapering if this is checked by yourself. These parties are “processors” within the meaning of the Relevant Legislation.

3.2. mailchimp
The newsletters are sent with Mailchimp. The moment you sign up for the newsletter, your e-mail address, first name and IP address are automatically stored in the appropriate list within Mailchimp.

3.3. Realhosting
Walloha's website and e-mail are hosted at Realhosting. All data that you leave during your visit, such as reactions, e-mails or orders, are stored on Realhosting's servers.

3.4. Dropbox
The backups of the website are hosted by cloud service Dropbox. Information that you leave on the Walloha website is stored on the Dropbox servers.

3.5. Mollie
All payment details (email, IP address, date & time of order) that are processed and stored by payment gateway Mollie for orders that are paid via iDeal.

3.6. paypal
All payment details (e-mail, IP address, date & time of order) for orders that are paid through PayPal, are processed and stored by payment gateway PayPal.

3.7. Accounting firm and accounting software
All invoices from our customers are collected and processed through the E-Bookkeeping program and are transparent for the accountants Walloha works with.

We provide your personal data never unnecessarily passed on to third parties.

4. Storage period

Your data will not be kept for longer than is necessary for the performance of activities, unless we have to keep your data for longer on the basis of a legal regulation.

4.1. Invoices
Walloha is legally obliged to keep invoices and associated order data for 10 years.

4.2. Email contact
The moment you contact Walloha by e-mail, the data you send, such as your name, company name and e-mail address, will be stored on the mail server. These emails are stored for a maximum of two years.

4.3. Sending newsletters
Your email address and first name are stored in Mailchimp. The storage of your data is for an indefinite period of time. You can unsubscribe whenever you want via the link at the bottom of the newsletters, or by sending an email to

4.5. Analytics
The data collected by Google Analytics and Jetpack on the website is anonymous, so it is not linked to your name, company or e-mail address. This data is stored indefinitely within Google Analytics and Jetpack.

5. Cookies

Walloha uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. Walloha uses cookies with a purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferred settings are remembered. These cookies are also used to make the website work properly and to optimize it.

In addition, we place cookies that keep track of your surfing behavior so that we can offer customized content and advertisements. On your first visit to our website we already informed you about these cookies and we asked for your permission to place them. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. 6. Security of personal data

No physical copies of your personal data are made. Your data is only managed digitally in the above systems and software.

The personal data managed by Walloha or by the aforementioned third parties can only be accessed via the above software and is protected with a password and where possible with two-step verification.

With this two-step verification, a code is generated from the software and sent to Walloha. This code must be used during the login process. The devices that access your data are each also locked with a password and/or fingerprint. The number of devices that can access your data is limited to only the necessary devices.

In addition, your visit to our website is secured by an SSL certificate. This means that your connection to the Walloha website is private. You can recognize this security by the green lock in front of the url.

7. Your rights

7.1. Right of access
You have the right at all times to request your data that has been recorded and stored by Walloha. You do this by sending an email to You will then receive an overview of your data.

7.2. Right to rectification
Is your data incorrect? Or have your details changed? You have the right to have this rectified by Walloha. You can adjust your information about the newsletter via the appropriate url at the bottom of each email.

7.3. Right to transfer
If you need the data stored at Walloha in case you switch to another party or service, you have the right to transfer. Walloha must hereby transfer all your data to the other party.

7.4. Right to erasure
Do you no longer want your data to be stored at Walloha? Then you have the right to have your data deleted.

7.5. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you believe that Walloha does not handle your data correctly. This is possible through this link.

7.6. Right to stop data use (objection)
Do you not want Walloha to use your data? Then you have the right to stop using your personal data. You can make use of these rights via by sending a copy of ID, in which the passport photo, the numbers at the bottom of the passport, ID number and citizen service number have been made illegible. The aim is to respond within a week.

8. Duties

Walloha processes personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest, namely a commercial interest. This includes offering Walloha services or products via e-mail. Your data will never be sold to third parties.

The data that are required to provide are the minimum data required for the provision of the services or products. For example, your e-mail address is required to be able to send the newsletter. If this mandatory information is not provided, Walloha will not be able to offer the relevant service.

If it is necessary to share data that you have shared with Walloha with parties other than the parties mentioned above (for example, to offer a service), your permission will first be requested.

Walloha reserves the right to disclose the information when required by law or when Walloha deems it justified to comply with a legal request/process or to protect Walloha's rights, property or safety. We always try to respect your right to privacy as much as possible.
