Walloha collects personal data for several purposes, which are explained below.
For your order, we need your name, email address, address(es), phone number, and payment information. We will register, store, and process your data to ensure the proper handling of your order. This data may also be used for any future guarantees. In processing your order, we will share the necessary personal data with the logistics center and (wallpaper) manufacturers.
We will only use your data for the purposes mentioned above, or for purposes closely related to them. Your data will never be used in an unexpected way.
If you send us an email, we will have your email address, name, and IP address, along with any other information you provide (date, time, IP address, and possibly your website or phone number).
Walloha sends digital newsletters for commercial purposes. Your first name, email address, and IP address are collected through the dedicated form on Walloha’s website, so we know to whom and where to send the newsletter.
To leave a product review on Walloha, you need to provide your first name and email address and possibly upload a photo. Additionally, your IP address, time of submission, and any website details are stored in our database. Your name, time of submission, and any photo will be published with the review on Walloha. Reviews can be viewed on the associated product page and in a separate RSS feed.
Product pages and reviews are accessible to everyone, including search engines. We have no control over how these search engines store or display your review(s).
Walloha’s website collects your data to improve the website. This is done through Google Analytics and Jetpack. This data is anonymous and not tied to your personal information. This includes information such as the length of your visit, the pages you visit, and the products you order.
The data Walloha collects and processes is managed through the following:
Sometimes, other parties may receive your data from us. We enter into data processing agreements with these parties to ensure they handle your data carefully, and they only receive the necessary data to provide their service. These parties use your data only in accordance with the instructions we provide and not for their own purposes. For example, we may pass your data to our logistics center, wallpaper producers, and/or wallpaper installers. These parties are “processors” under relevant legislation.

Newsletters are sent via Mailchimp. When you sign up for the newsletter, your email address, first name, and IP address are automatically stored in the designated list within Mailchimp.
Walloha’s website and email are hosted by Realhosting. All data you leave during your visit, such as comments, emails, or orders, is stored on Realhosting’s servers.
Backups of the website are hosted on Dropbox. Data you leave on Walloha’s website is stored on Dropbox’s servers.
All payment data (email, IP address, date & time of the order) for orders paid via iDeal is processed and stored by payment gateway Mollie.
All payment data (email, IP address, date & time of the order) for orders paid via PayPal is processed and stored by payment gateway PayPal.
All invoices from our customers are collected and processed using the accounting program E-Boekhouden and are accessible to the accountants Walloha works with.
We never unnecessarily share your personal data with third parties.
Your data will not be stored longer than necessary for performing activities, unless we are required by law to retain it for a longer period.
Walloha is legally required to store invoices and related order details for 10 years.
If you contact Walloha via email, the data you send, such as your name, company name, and email address, is stored on the mail server. These emails are kept for up to two years.
Your email address and first name are stored in Mailchimp. These data are stored indefinitely. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of the newsletters or by sending an email to info@walloha.com.
The product reviews you leave, along with the data provided, are stored indefinitely. Email us if you would like us to remove your data: info@walloha.com.
The data collected by Google Analytics and Jetpack on the website is anonymous and not linked to your name, company, or email address. This data is stored indefinitely within Google Analytics and Jetpack.
Walloha uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your browser the first time you visit this website. Walloha uses cookies with a purely technical function. These ensure that the website works properly and that your preferences are remembered. These cookies are also used to improve the website.
Additionally, we use cookies to track your browsing behavior so we can offer personalized content and ads. Upon your first visit to our website, we informed you about these cookies and asked for your consent to place them. You can opt out of cookies by setting your browser not to store them. No physical copies of your personal data are made. Your data is only digitally managed in the systems and software mentioned above.
The personal data managed by Walloha or the aforementioned third parties is only accessible via the above software and is protected with a password and, where possible, two-step verification.
This two-step verification involves a code generated by the software and sent to Walloha. This code must be used during the login process. The devices accessing your data are also locked with a password and/or fingerprint. The number of devices with access to your data is limited to only the necessary ones.
Additionally, your visit to our website is secured by an SSL certificate. This means your connection to Walloha’s website is private. You can recognize this security by the green lock next to the URL.
You have the right to request your data that Walloha has recorded and stored. To do this, send an email to info@walloha.com. You will receive an overview of your data.
